It is visible because of the erythematous, scaly red lesions on different areas of the skin. Occasionally, it can affect other areas such as the nails, the scalp and joints or it can increase the predisposition to develop other types of diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Psoriasis is a highly complex alteration and the treatment prescribed depends on each individual patient and their evaluation. Consequently, each case must be profiled exclusively before deciding upon the appropriate course of action.
